Privacy Policy

DAC-A11y Forge is committed to protecting the privacy of customers, end users, and visitors. This policy outlines how we handle personal data, uploaded content, and telemetry generated by our accessibility tools.

Information We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of information:

  • Account details: name, email address, phone number, and organization profile information supplied during registration or profile updates.
  • Authentication data: hashed passwords, multi-factor tokens, and login activity necessary to operate a secure sign-in experience.
  • Payment and subscription records: identifiers exchanged with our payment processor to keep your plans active. Credit card data is never stored on our servers.
  • Uploaded content: documents, images, and website data submitted for remediation or scanning.
  • Telemetry and diagnostics: application logs, usage metrics, and error traces that help us maintain platform reliability.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide accessibility scans, document remediation, and reporting.
  • Maintain account security, detect fraud, and enforce rate limits.
  • Issue billing statements, manage subscriptions, and deliver customer support.
  • Improve product performance, train detection heuristics, and inform roadmap decisions.

Processing of Uploaded Content

Uploaded documents, images, and related metadata are processed solely to deliver requested accessibility services. Our pipelines may employ artificial intelligence models and trusted third-party libraries to extract structure, assess compliance, and generate remediation guidance. Service providers operate under contractual confidentiality obligations and are permitted to use the data only to supply the service requested by DAC-A11y Forge.

Retention and Deletion

  • Documents and exports: retained for the duration of the job, then archived or purged according to your workspace retention settings. Temporary working copies created during AI processing are destroyed when processing completes.
  • Account data: stored while your subscription remains active and for a limited period afterward to satisfy legal or contractual requirements.
  • Telemetry: aggregated and minimized; identifiable log data is kept only as long as necessary to troubleshoot incidents.
  • You may submit deletion requests for personal information or uploaded files at any time through support; we honor verified requests in accordance with applicable law.

Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, scoped storage, role-based access controls, and continuous monitoring. Access to uploaded content is restricted to authorized personnel and automated services required to fulfill the workflow.

Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell personal information. We share limited data with:

  • Payment processors to manage billing.
  • Email, SMS, and notification providers to send transactional communications.
  • Cloud AI services and remediation libraries used to analyze uploaded content.
  • Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.

All service providers are bound by data-processing agreements and must comply with security and confidentiality obligations.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information. Submit privacy inquiries at Contact Us. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. When updates are significant, we will notify you by email or prominent in-app messaging. Continued use of the service after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
